Changes to accounts and Service Charges

We have several updates on our upcoming amalgamation with Innovation Credit Union. Even though the official amalgamation is not taking place until January 1, 2019, we are able to get a head start on part of the transition process.

New Deposit Products and Deposit Account Transitions
As of November 1, 2018, we are offering Innovation Credit Union’s deposit product suite and aligning our deposit and related fees. Check out the new product suite and associated fees in the enclosed brochure. The deposit product brochure and fee reference are also available on our website.

Between November 1 and December 31, 2018, we will transition your Pierceland Credit Union accounts to the new deposit products that best aligns with your banking habits. We will select your new deposit products based on:

1) the average number debit transactions over the last 12 months, or

2) the average balance over the last 12 months.

In some cases, the decision factor will be the intended use of the account (e.g. personal, business, agricultural, community service group, association non-profit).

Your $5 Share Account will become a Member Rewards Account—a loyalty program account where you can earn money simply by doing everyday banking with Innovation Credit Union. Look forward to saving, earning, and giving more through Innovation’s Member Rewards loyalty program in 2019!

CCUA Buyer Protection & Extended Warranty Changes
We will no longer offer the CCUA Buyer Protection & Extended Warranty effective January 1, 2019.

Advice Centre (Branch) Hours of Service
Our hours of service will change effective January 1, 2019:

Monday to Thursday – 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Fridays – 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
